The Australian Tourism Awards are the tourism industry’s peak Awards – recognising and promoting excellence in tourism. First established in 1985, the Australian Tourism Awards are now owned and managed by the National Tourism Alliance, on behalf of the tourism industry.

The 2013 Canberra and Capital Region Tourism Awards were officially launched by ACT Minister for Tourism and Events, Andrew Barr, on Thursday 2 May.
Nominations can be submitted up until Friday 21 June, with written submissions due on Thursday 3 October.
30 is the magic number for entrants in this year’s South Australian Tourism Awards – it’s 30 years since their introduction, a new category will bring the total number to 30 and a brand new logo and star trophy will commemorate the 30 lucky winners.
